the new semester
After exams and vacation, we're back in action! We had our first LCM with the new EB which went very well.. They even had an apéro! :) Now we're starting to work again and have quite a few projects:
We have to finish calling all the firms, banks, etc. to try and raise more TNs.
We are going to have our spa day at last!! :)
A matching training will take place sometime soon which will be interesting for us who have never really had the opportunity to do any matching (apart from Noëllie and Matthieu).
We are going to try and find international partners who have similar PboXs.
Anna is responsible for the organization of Xperience, a conference in Geneva for all the Swiss aiesecers who will be going on an exchange soon.
Otherwise this week there is an aiesec stand in the main hall at Uni Mail so we have all spent a few hours there, trying to recruit new members! There will be information sessions soon and then interviews to finally end up with some new chickens we hope!
Well, that's about it for now.. It was nice to see everyone again after a long break and see what had been done! (Michael is now officially VPER, Noëllie and Matthieu did a lot during our exams, etc) Kathrin keeps motivating us and everything is giong well for now! :)

SPA DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
On wednesday the 19.12.2007 the annual X-mas dinner has taken place. The whole LC Geneva was in the restaurant of "Bain de Paquis" and ate Fondue. This dinner is also the occasion to announce the winner of the awards of the LC Geneva.
And so we finally got it! We have won the award for the best performing PBox. Jupppij Spa we are cooooooming!

4 meetings
Soooo we finally had 4 meetings!
the first and the second brought us 2 traineeships, I have mentionned before.
The third was also interesting: last friday Bilal, Michael and Anna went to Cecal, an south american trade organisation. First we didn't find the office. But finally we found it at the airport and then we had a nice meeting with Mister Celivegas (he showed us part of a tv-broadcast, in which he gave an interview :-) ). He was very excited about @. He can't take interns himself, but he will promote us to the partner companies of Cecal. He is also interested in our learning event. Soon we will send him a partnership proposal.
The fourth meeting we had this afternoon. Kathrin and Cindy have gone to a office of the government of Canton Genève. They can't take interns too, we don't know yet if there is any possibilty of collaborating.
Next tuesday we will have our second team event!

Noëllie and Matthieu raised traineeships in two companies. Noellie got a IT-traineeship and Matthieu one in the finance sector in the company Maitland.

Meeting
JEEEAAAAA!
we've got 3 company meetings! Gogogoo, pbox sustainability rooocks!
On our contact list are just a few companies left. the most we' ve already called, and tomorrow we will call the rest and we will have our first company meeting. Matthieu supported by Sarah will go to the talk ond hopefully raise our first intern :-)

Puuhhh..
we have started calling the companies... the newies in our Pbox (that means everyone but Kathrin) have some trouble at the beginning, for exemple they forget to ask for the name or the e-mail-adress of the person they talked to. Thankfully we have still the next week and a long,long list of companies to practice with.
